URGENT: Kurd, Sunni, Shiite….does it Matter???
MAJOR DONOR PULLS FUNDING
What race is a heart? What color, religion, language, or ethnicity does a heart have?
The International Children’s Heart Foundation has never and WILL NEVER use any of these reasons NOT to operate on a child’s heart.
We cherish all children, the world over. We operate on hearts that are broken. When those hearts are fixed, those bodies, those children grow up, grow strong, maybe they change the world.
Who are we to choose the children that steer the future?
With our trip to Iraqi Kurdistan only weeks away, our team is assembled, supplies are ready to be shipped. A major funder for this trip pulled their money because we were operating on Kurdish children and their money was only for Shiite or Sunni children.
This could not be farther from the truth. We had agreed in the early planning stages of this trip that ALL children from the Iraq region would be operated on. We don’t takes sides and we don’t play politics.
If we can’t make this trip because of this financial shortfall NONE of them will be operated on!
PLEASE HELP THESE KIDS:

Aww I hope this little boy get what he deserves it is not his fault what relgion he is. I 100percent agree that any child that needs help should be helped he did not ask for heart problems and neither did his perents,, Help this boy he needs our help and i think he deserves it too,, just sit bak and thing if that was yr boy what would you want to do anything in yr power to safe him. well this little boy need help too..
Absolutely shocking! Race, religion, politics, none should be factors in deciding who gets operated on. I am deeply dismayed by that funder's decision, and fully in support of your goals.
